The Urban Dog is designed for.. well, The Urban Dog. The dog that lives in town who needs a place to kick up his paws while his people are working. There are a lot of reasons for doggie day care. When dogs get board at home, they can be destructive. Other dogs suffer from separation anxiety and need interaction during the day. Some doggie parents feel guilty at the thought of their pet sitting at home bored all day. Of course there are dogs that have way more energy than their people can deal with after a long day at work! Burning that energy at daycare makes for a more relaxing evening for everyone!

We understand dogs and their need to exercise. Boredom leads to destructive behaviors such as chewing, licking, digging or barking. Play keeps a dog’s body and mind active and builds a happier pet. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring that your dog is well cared for at all times.

Doggy daycare isn’t for every dog. We require each pet to come in for an assessment day. Assessment days are done by appointment. During this assessment day, we temperament test using techniques developed by experts and are industry standard. We evaluate temperament, basic obedience skills and play style.
